Energy System

Moemate has an energy system to make the usage transparent for all of our users. Working of the energy system is explained in this section.

How it works:

Each LLM costs a certain number of tokens. We are charged per token so we pass on the costs to our users. Energy system explains how the token costing works. So every LLM costs different number of tokens and we have fixated the tokens as energy points at a certain ratio. Number of energy points each LLM charges can vary based on the context length. The average ranges for each LLM is around:

• Moemate LLM: 1 energy point (Free for Champion/Elite tiers)

• Claude Instant v1.2: 2-3 energy points (Free for Champion/Elite tiers)

• Claude v3 Haiku: 1-2 (Free for Champion/Elite tiers)

• Gemini 1.5 Flash: 1 energy point (Free for Champion/Elite tiers)

• GPT-4o mini: 1 energy point (Free for Champion/Elite tiers)

• GPT 3.5 Turbo: 1 energy points (Free for Champion/Elite tiers)

• Claude v3 Sonnet: 2 - 32 energy points

• Gemini 1.5 Pro: 2-48 energy points

• GPT-4o: 1 - 18 energy points

• Claude v2.1: 2 - 60 energy points

• GPT4: 1 - 60 energy points

• GPT4 Turbo: 1 - 48 energy points

• Claude v3.5 Sonnet: 2 - 32 energy points

• Claude v2: 2 - 60 energy points

• Image/Selfie generation: 2 energy points

• Meme/comic generation: 2 energy points

Note that the ranges are not final, It can vary based on the context length of the message being sent. Context includes these things:

• Character prompts( Bio | Scenario | Personality etc)

• Memories | Previous messages

• Message being sent

If the character prompts are long in length, message being sent is long or memory is enabled, it can cause the LLM to consume more than average energy points. To avoid this you can reduce the character prompt lengths and disable memory.

Energy meter

Energy meter has been added to let users know how much each generation is costing. Energy meter is a must and always on by default for free users. Meanwhile subscribers have the option to turn off the energy meter.

Free users:

Energy meter is always on for free users. Currently, free user have access to Moemate LLM and all image models, meme & comic generators. Moemate LLM charges 1 energy point per message and image/comic/meme generation charges 2 energy points.

Battery capacity: 100 energy points Recharge rate: 10 energy points per hour

Rookie users:

Rookie users have access to everything free users have along with voices and uncensored images. Also moemate LLM is free for rookie users. It doesn't charges any energy point for rookie users

Battery capacity: 250 energy points Recharge rate: 50 energy points per hour

Champion | Elite users:

Champion users have option to turn off energy meter if they like. Following LLMs are totally free for champion users:

• Moemate LLM

• Gpt 3.5 turbo

• GPT 4o mini

• Claude v3 haiku

• Gemini 1.5 flash

Note that the other LLMs charge energy based on the above criteria. Once user has used up their energy points the premium LLMs are automatically downgraded to give users a flawless chat experience. The LLMs upgrade again once the battery recharges after an hour.
